David Eric Grohl born on January 14, 1969 in Warren, drummer Ohio.Fue Nirvana from 1990 to the disappearance of the band in 1994 after the death of Kurt Cobain. When Grohl I was a child, his family moved from Ohio to Alexendria, Virginia, a suburb of Washington DC. 3 years later, his parents divorced, and Grohl grew up with her mother.

I just had to post this after I heard it.  I heard on WHFS, considered by many to be the top modern rock station in the country, that Geffen has confirmed a boxed set as being in the works.  Chris and Dave have been reportedly going through demos and putting together what they consider the best of the previously unreleased songs.  Chris was even quoted as saying that it will not be a great Nirvana album, but he thinks what they have, fans will want to hear.  Of course, early speculation has the songs being the Bleach outtakes, the single b-sides, compilation recordings and even some of the songs done a short time before Kurt’s death.

This has been reported to be out by late ‘97 or early ‘98 (probably early ‘98, the way release dates are always pushed back).  I really hope this is true and why shouldn’t it be? Nirvana fans deserve to hear all there was from the genius that was and will always be, the late, great Kurt Cobain. Read the rest of this entry »
