The last interview with Kurt Cobain

The Kurt Cobain gave a dramatically frank interview to the journal respected rock journalist Jon Savage. With much ease as controversial topics discussed such as: Courtney Love , homosexuality, heroin and Cobain’s relationship with his bandmates. The interview was never published in Spanish, so far. The Online guitar world put this historic meeting in three parts.

The Tom Grant Interview 03

Tom Grant:”There was another incident at the house, sometime earlier, where Kurt had supposedly overdosed. Courtney injected him with some additional drugs and she claimed that she knew what she was doing, that she was trying to help him come out of a state that he was in.

“He [Cobain] apparently got some fibers from the cotton in his vein… We have a list of those drugs and from all the checking we have done, there was nothing there that would have helped him in his situation. Everything that she injected into him would have made him worse. Kurt Cobain was a gentle, self-effacing 22-year-old who happened to write good music. Always clad in ripped jeans and thrift store sweaters, and graced by a stern, stubble-darkened face, Cobain seemed content — at least on the surface.

He had few problems other than finding the money for his next meal and finding the time to write more songs. His band at the time which also included bassist Krist Novoselic and drummer Chad Channing — had cultivated a reasonably loyal indie-rock audience even then, before the notorious Seattle sound (a.k.a. grunge) had taken root.
