His parents are Chris and Maria Novoselic Croatian immigrants, Mr. Novoselic came to the United States in 1963, and a year later became his future wife. They got a home in Gardena, California and Mr. Novoselic got a job driving a water truck. Chris was 2 years old when her brother was born Robert Novoselic, by this time the family moved constantly until finally home, came to a modest home.
